For more than 15 years, McClure Tables has earned a reputation as one of America’s highest‑rated handcrafted shuffleboard manufacturers. Our reviews aren’t collected through retail stores or resellers — they come directly from real customers who purchased their shuffleboard tables from us, installed them in their homes or businesses, and enjoyed years of play with family and friends.
This page brings together our most helpful shuffleboard table reviews, insights into what customers appreciate most, and a closer look at the small team that handcrafts every McClure table.
At the bottom of this article, you’ll also find a link to our full historical archive of reviews dating back to 2010, showcasing more than a decade of customer feedback.
⭐ Why McClure Shuffleboard Table Reviews Stand Out
Unlike mass‑produced tables found in big‑box stores, McClure shuffleboard tables are built one at a time in our Michigan workshop. That means:
Every review speaks to our craftsmanship, not outsourced production
Customers interact directly with our team — often with Todd himself
Tables are built with real hardwoods and traditional woodworking methods
Service, communication, and delivery are handled person‑to‑person
When customers write reviews about McClure Tables, they aren’t describing a product pulled off a warehouse shelf. They’re sharing their experience with a handcrafted piece of furniture, built by a small team that signs their work with pride.
⭐ A Small Team With a Big Reputation
McClure Tables operates out of a 24,000‑square‑foot facility — but the team behind your shuffleboard table is intentionally small. Our crew includes:
Dan, Jose, & Sam – expert cabinet makers and woodworkers
Frank – our master finisher, responsible for the smooth, durable surface McClure is known for
Barb – our friendly customer support lead, who many reviewers mention by name
This isn’t an assembly line. Every table is handcrafted, finished, inspected, packaged, and shipped by a team that treats the work as an art form, not a product run.
Many of our reviews describe:
“flawless craftsmanship”
“a true piece of furniture”
“better quality than anything else online”
“worth every penny.”
“made in America, and it shows”
These are the hallmarks of our small‑team, high‑touch approach.
⭐ What Customers Consistently Praise in Their Reviews
After analyzing hundreds of reviews across 15+ years, several themes stand out:
1. Unmatched Build Quality
Customers compare their McClure tables to high‑end furniture. Most highlight the weight, stability, joinery, and finish that set handcrafted American hardwood apart from veneer‑based imports.
2. True Shuffleboard Play Experience
Players consistently mention:
smooth, accurate glide
consistent crown
authentic tournament‑style feel
no wobble, vibration, or hollow sound
This performance comes from our 3-inch hard maple playfields and precise climate‑adjuster setup.
3. Personal Customer Service
A major review theme: “Todd answered the phone personally.” Customers love the direct, human help — especially compared to automated customer service at big brands.
4. Longevity
Many reviewers return after 3, 5, even 10 years to say their tables still look and play like new.
5. Family & Social Enjoyment
Nearly every review mentions:
family game nights
multi‑generational play
parties, gatherings, office break rooms
kids learning shuffleboard
shuffleboard becoming a “centerpiece”
This emotional value is unique — shuffleboard brings people together.
⭐ Why We Built This Page (and How to Use It)
The Team at McClure Tables would like to thank our customers for such great Shuffleboard Table Reviews. We try very hard to treat every customer as family, from the personal phone calls you get when your table ships to emails. In the last 12 months, McClure Tables just started collecting service reviews. In years past, they assumed they were selling products and collecting only product reviews. In the 12 months shown in the snapshot below, we had only 2 4-star service reviews, and both were for accessories we sell for shuffleboard tables (see image below).
We realize most of our business comes from word of mouth. All of our reviews are from an independent service, Feefo, and they have verified our customers. The review has to be from a customer who has made a purchase. With services like Google Pages, anyone can post a review. We even had a short-term employee who was only with us for 2 weeks after a negative Google review. So when you are shopping online, check the source of the reviews. If the vendor, distributor, or manufacturer is not using an independent service, be cautious. We have a carousel of recent shuffleboard table reviews below, and McClure Tables also posts reviews directly on their website product pages, specific to that model.
91 Service Reviews in 12 months 89 5-Star Shuffleboard Table Service Reviews
In addition to product reviews, we also collect independent service reviews that measure our communication, delivery experience, and customer support. Over the past year, 91 customers rated their service experience with McClure Tables — and 89 of them gave us a perfect 5‑star rating. These reviews reflect the personal care, responsiveness, and one‑on‑one support our small team provides throughout the buying and delivery process.

Love the table but one side is much faster then the other. Thinking about adjusting it up on one side to even it out. Is it supposed to be like that ??
If you have a longer table than 12 feet then you need to put both the end legs slightly higher. If you look at the video on this post it may help understand https://shuffleboardmccluretables.com/shuffleboard-table-leveling-tips/. For a 12 or 9 foot table, you just have to try to get even the end playing faster is lower than the slower end.
I would most sincerely appreciate your help on this question… When playing bowling on a shuffleboard table, how much higher should the sides of a shuffleboard table be than the playing surface to prevent pins from bouncing over the side of the table? I’m thinking about building a shuffleboard table and don’t want pins bouncing out and hitting my tile floor. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR FEEDBACK COMMENTS
We use heavy wood bowling pins and have not had anyone have a problem or tell us about pucks knocking pins on the floor. We make the sides about 2 inches higher for the pucks
