Premium Hardwoods

Hard Maple, Cherry, White Oak or Walnut. Selected for strength, stability, and long-term serviceability.

2” Solid Maple Playboard

Precision-milled hard maple with traditional piano-style finish — not a poured polymer coating.

Handcrafted in Michigan

Built in small batches using in-house milling and finishing, not mass-produced on assembly lines.

Exceptional Value Shuffleboard Table

We handcraft every Competitor II shuffleboard table from solid Michigan hard maple, not plywood or composite materials. The result is a simple, high-quality shuffleboard table that will provide your family and friends with countless hours of entertainment. Our master craftsmen build each Competitor II table to order at our Grand Rapids, Michigan, facility.

Using the finest locally harvested hard maple, our team of woodworking experts spends hours crafting each table's cabinet and legs. We pride ourselves on handcrafting one-of-a-kind shuffleboard tables that can stand up to years of wear and tear. Furthermore, solid hardwood construction ensures exceptional durability and long-term stability.

Premium Playing Surface

While most shuffleboard tables in this price range feature a 16-inch wide, 1.5-inch thick playing surface, the Competitor II offers an 18-inch wide, 2-inch thick playing surface. We handcraft it from premium hard maple and seal it with our specially formulated traditional finish that carries a lifetime warranty. This professional-grade finish ensures smooth, consistent gameplay for decades.

Regulation-sized playing surfaces are 20 inches wide and 3 inches thick, but require additional crating that increases shipping costs. Because of the Competitor II's unique 18-inch-wide, 2-inch-thick playing surface, we can reduce shipping costs while still providing a playing experience comparable to regulation boards.

Fits Tighter Spaces

The cabinet is only 25.5 to 26 inches wide, allowing the Competitor II to fit into tighter spaces than some of our larger models. The cabinet is available in several standard finishes, including Cinnamon, Chestnut, Mocha, Mahogany, Black Rubbed, and many more. We can also custom-finish the cabinet to match your décor. Additionally, the Competitor II is available in 9, 12, and 14 foot lengths.

Handcrafted Quality in an Entry-Level Shuffleboard Table

The Competitor II stands apart from typical entry‑level shuffleboard tables thanks to its true hardwood construction. While many entry-level models are made of plywood or composite materials, each Competitor II is handcrafted from solid Michigan Hard Maple, offering greater durability, stability, and long-term value. Built in our Grand Rapids, Michigan, facility by skilled artisans, every table is made to order using locally sourced maple and time‑tested woodworking techniques. The result is a dependable, American‑made shuffleboard table designed to provide years of family entertainment.

Premium Maple Playfield for a Better Playing Experience

Most tables in this price range feature a 16, wide, 1.5 thick playfield, but the Competitor II raises the standard with an 18-inch, 2 thick Hard Maple playing surface. This upgraded size provides more room for strategic shooting and feels much closer to regulation boards while still keeping shipping costs down. Each playfield is sealed with our proprietary lifetime‑warranty finish, engineered for smooth glide and outstanding wear resistance.

Compact Cabinet Design for Tighter Spaces

One of the most practical advantages of the Competitor II is its streamlined cabinet, which measures just 25.5 to 26 inches wide. This narrower profile allows the table to fit comfortably into basements, bonus rooms, and smaller game rooms where full-sized cabinets may not work. Despite its compact dimensions, the Competitor II maintains the same high-quality construction and stability as our larger handcrafted models.

Customize Your Finish and Match Any Decor

The Competitor II is available in a wide range of standard finishes—including Cinnamon, Chestnut, Mocha, Mahogany, and Black Rubbed- giving you flexibility to match your home décor. For homeowners or businesses seeking a more personalized look, we also offer custom finishing options tailored to complement your space.

Sizing Options for Every Home or Game Room

Available in 9-, 12-, and 14-foot lengths, the Competitor II fits comfortably into almost any room layout. Its thoughtful size range lets you enjoy a high-quality, handcrafted shuffleboard table without the same footprint as larger tournament models.

Optional Upgrades to Personalize Your Table

Every Competitor II table includes eight pucks and one can of shuffleboard wax, giving you everything you need to start playing. Optional upgrades, such as traditional abacus score beads, a full electronic scoring unit, and additional accessories, can be added at checkout, allowing you to customize your table to the level of play you prefer.

Additional Shuffleboard Table Resources

If you need guidance on installation, room sizing, wax speeds, or shuffleboard care, we provide dedicated resource pages throughout our website. This keeps the Competitor II product page clean and focused while still providing you with expert information whenever you need it.
